1. Chhotu thought that he could live in that pipe. This thought would perhaps have aroused in his mind as he came to Mumbai for the first time and at that time, he did not have a house to live in.
2. Chhotu made that pipe his home.
3. Chhotu divided the pipe and its surrounding areas into sleeping, cooking, bathing and living areas.
4 Chhotu would like to spend most of his time outside the pipe for doing his daily chores like bathing, cooking and meeting his friends.
5. Monu is new to Mumbai and had no place to live. So, Chhotu invited him to live with him.

How do you keep your house clean? 
Ans: We keep our house clean by:
i. Sweeping the floor and collecting the dust in the dustbins
ii. Mopping the floor
iii. Using phenyl and disinfectant for cleaning the floor and washrooms
iv. Removing cobwebs periodically
v. Using insect and mosquito repellant
vi. Throwing out wastes only in the dustbin (recyclable and non-recyclable wastes should be thrown separately)
vii. Getting the house white-washed periodically
There can be several other ways of cleaning one’s house.

Who all help to keep your house clean?
Ans:
My entire family particularly my mom keeps our house clean along with help of house maid.

Where do you throw the garbage of your house?
Ans: We throw garbage in the dustbins. We use two kinds of bins, one is for throwing the recyclable wastes, whereas other is for throwing the non-recyclable wastes.

Ans: Yes, the region surrounding my home is totally clean.

Do you use a toilet in or around your house? 

Ans: I use the toilet which is in my house.

Who cleans it? 

Ans: My maid cleans it.

How do you help in keeping it clean? 

Ans: I always flush after using the toilet, by doing this I help in keeping it clean.

Describe the toilet area in your school. 

Ans: In my school, washrooms are totally clean. In our school, we have both Indian and Western toilets. Each washroom is equipped with a dustbin.

Is it clean?

Ans: Yes, it is clean and spotless.

Who cleans it and how? 

Ans: our sweepers use brushes and some liquid to clean it.

How do you help with it?  

Ans: I help them by using a flush after every use and I also throw napkins in the dustbin.

Do you leave the toilet as clean as you want it for yourself?

Ans: Yes, I do.

Enlist the times when you wash your hands. 

Ans: I wash my hand after and before eating, after coming from the playground, before and after eating.

When do you think your hands get dirty?

Ans: I think my hands get dirty after using the toilet, after playing, and also after eating.

When all do you need to keep yourself clean?

Ans: I am always needed to keep myself clean for being a healthy person.

 What will happen if we do not do the above?

• Clipping the nails regularly

Ans: If we do not do the above things daily then we will suffer from many harmful diseases such as skin diseases, tooth decay .and if we don’t clip our nails regularly then the dirt will enter through the nails and make us unhealthy.

Is there any special way in which you decorate your house? When and how? 

Ans: There are many special ways in which we can decorate a house. We decorate our houses using flowers, wall paintings, flower pot, crystal show pieces, beautiful articles of wood, clay, etc.
On special occasions like birthdays, we decorate our houses with ribbons and balloons. On Diwali, we use fancy lights, candles, earthen diyas, rangolis, etc. to decorate our houses.

Paintings, crystal and wood show pieces, flower pots, colourful ribbons, balloons, flower garlands, etc. are some of the things with which a house can be decorated.
