Our environment is our surroundings in which we live. It is inclusive of air, water, land, people, buildings, traffic, air, noise, plants and every living and non-living. We are a part of this environment. As we are affected by other parts of the environment same way we affect others who are a part of this environment.

The environment keeps on changing depending upon the change in activities. Some activities improve but some activities disturb the whole environment. For example tree plantation makes it better but littering with plastic bags disturb it. Noise above certain level harms all the living beings. Dust particles, smoke from factories and motor cars disturb the environment. Running water in rivers and streams can tolerate sewer discharge up to a level. Insecticides and pesticides disturb the environment but can be tolerated up to a point. Environment has a tolerance level in every area.
