How to Calculate NEET Percentile Score?

NEET percentile is a measure of how many other test takers have scored higher or lower than a particular candidate. It is determined by comparing the individual's raw score with the highest score achieved in the NEET exam, thus giving an indication of the candidate's position relative to the top scorer of the exam.
NTA defines NEET 2023 percentile rank as, “ the percentage of scores that falls below a given score in a group." A specific formula is applied on the basis of which the NEET percentile score of a candidate is calculated.
The formula mentioned below is used to calculate the NEET percentile score:

    • If the tie still exists, the age of the candidates is taken into consideration and the older candidate is given the higher rank.
