What is JEE Advanced Exam? (a quick overview)

JEE Advanced is a highly competitive examination for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

• The JEE Advanced 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on June 04, 2023 and will be organised by IIT Guwahati.
• Only the top 2,50,000 candidates from the JEE Main will be eligible to take the JEE Advanced, which is the second stage of the JEE.
• The exam is conducted in an online format, with two papers that must be completed in two shifts on the same day. Both papers are mandatory.

• Performance in JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2023.
• Age Limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates
• Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

JEE Advanced 2023 Application

The application process for JEE Advanced typically includes the following steps:

• Register for JEE Advanced by providing personal and academic details (JEE Main 2023 registration number and password), and choosing the examination centers.
