The sectional cutoff in the CAT exam is very important, as candidates need to clear the cutoff for each section to qualify for the next stage of the selection process. However, the sectional cutoff varies for different IIMs and B-schools.
Candidates can prepare for the CAT exam by practicing mock tests, solving previous years' question papers, and focusing on their weak areas. It is also essential to manage time effectively and maintain a consistent study schedule. Coaching and guidance from experienced mentors can also be helpful.
