How to Upload NEET 2023 Images in the required Format?

Filling the NEET form 2023 requires uploading scanned images of photo, signature, and left-hand thumb impression. The images must be converted according to the specifications set by NTA before uploading. NTA sets the specifications for the NEET 2023 images.

Passport size photograph 

• The name of the candidate and date of taking the photo should be included in the photograph for NEET. 
• The background of the photo should be a solid white.
• The photo should be clear and have at least 80% of the face visible.

• Spectacles may be worn in the photo.

Important points to remember

• NEET photos should not be polaroid or computer-generated.
• The background of the photograph should be plain without any scenery or objects.
• Candidates should not be wearing any caps or goggles in NTA NEET-UG photo.

Left-hand thumb impression

• NTA NEET thumb impression should be made on white paper.
• Only blue ink should be used for making the NEET 2023 thumb impression.
• The image of the NEET thumb impression should be scanned before uploading.
• NEET-UG thumb impression should be clear.

Important points to remember

• In case the left thumb is not available, candidates can upload their right thumb impression.
• The impression should not be blurred or unclear.
• NEET 2023 application form without a thumb impression will not be accepted.

Class 10 certificate

• The image should include the complete class 10 certificate.
• The image of the NEET class 10 certificate should be scanned and then uploaded.
• The class 10 certificate should be clearly visible in the image.

NEET Photo Correction 2023

If the pictures submitted for the NTA NEET 2023 do not follow the specified rules, the application will not be approved. NTA will notify the applicants via their given email and contact number regarding the need to make changes to the photograph, signature and thumbprint. Applicants will have an opportunity to modify their photographs during the correction window period.

How to do NEET image correction 2023?

Step 1: Login to NEET applicant portal with application number and password.
Step 2: Select the ‘upload photograph/signature’ option.
Step 3: Upload the correct images for NEET 2023.
Step 4: Verify and submit the images.
Step 5: An OTP will be sent to the registered email ID and number.
