(a) N
(b) M
(c) O
(d) None of the above
Ans: (b)
From the question,
'P' is neither as tall as 'M' nor as short as 'O'.
So, M > P > O .........(eq.1).

P > N > O...........(eq.2).
then, M > P > N > O
So, tallest doll is M. (Ans)

(c) Wednesday
(d) Monday
Ans: (c)
According to the question,
Subrat was born on 29th September 1999.
and, 15th August, 1999 was Sunday.
Now, Days upto 29th September from 15 August (16 to 31 August month + 1 to 29 September month )
= 16 days + 29 days = 45 days = 6 weeks 3 old days
So, Sunday + 3 days = Wednesday.
Therefore, Subrat was born on Wednesday. (Ans)

Now, 27th October ⇒ Wednesday – 2 days = Monday (Ans).

Q5: If the positions of the first and the fourth digits of the number 57286491 are interchanged, similarly, the positions of the second and the fifth digits are interchanged, and so on, then find which of the following will be the sixth from the right end after the rearrangement?
(a) 6
(b) 7
(c) 8
(d) None of the above
Ans: (b)
If the positions of the first and the fifth digits of the number 57286491 are interchanged.
After interchange the new number = 67285491
similarly, the positions of the second and the sixth digits are interchanged.
Again after interchange the new number = 64285791
Therefore, third number from right end is 7. (Ans)

(a) Sunday
(b) Wednesday
(c) Friday
(d) Monday
Ans: (d)
Acc. to question,
50 weeks = 50 × 7 = 350 days
Anni is 300 days older than Viru.
Sam is 350 days older than Anni.
So, Sam = (350 + 300) days older than Viru.
Now, Sam was born on Tuesday.
So, 650 days = 600 = 92 weeks 6 days
Then, Viru was born 6 days after Tuesday

(a) 12
(b) 15
(c) 18
(d) None of the above
Ans: (a)
Suppose, the number of boys = B.
From question, Then, number of girls = 2B.
So, B + 2B = 60 or 3B = 60 or B = 20.
Then, no.of boys = 20 and number of girls = 40.
Now, no. of students behind Kamal in rank (60 – 17) =43.
and, no. of girls ahead of Kamal in rank = 9.
So, no. of girls behind Kamal in rank = (40 – 9) = 31
Then, no. of boys behind Kamal in rank
= (43 – 31) = 12 (Ans)

(a) 34
(b) 44
(c) 60
(d) None of the above
Ans: (b)
Suppose,
the no. of boys in school be B.
So, number of girls in school = 2B
from questuion, B + 2B = 180
⇒ 3B = 180
⇒ B = 180/3 = 60
then, no. of boys = 60
and, no. of girls = 120
Now, Raju ranked 34th from top
and 18 girls are ahead of him.
Therefore, no. of boys after the rank of Raju
= 60 – 16 = 44 (Ans)

Total boys = (13 + 17) – 1 = 29.
Now, no. of passed students = (Malay’s place from starting + Malay’s place from end )–1
Then, no. of passed students = (8 + 13)– 1= 20
Hence, no. of failed students = 29 – 20 = 9 (Ans)

New number after interchange = 2 5 3 6 8 9 7 3 6 2
Again, the positions of the second and the seventh digits are interchanged.
Then, New number after interchange = 2 7 3 6 8 9 5 3 6 2
Therefore, After interchanging, fourth digit from the right end of the rearrangement : 9 (Ans)
