Have you ever made a paper boat and watched it float on the water?
Well, this story is about Meena and her paper boats. While enjoying the activity of floating several boats in a stream near a bamboo bridge, she encounters a naughty boy who overturns her boats. But soon, they learn to play together and enjoy the moment.
Meena loved playing with her paper boats. One sunny day, she walked to the stream near a bamboo bridge, excited to watch her boats float. She carefully placed a boat into the water, and to her joy, it sailed smoothly down the stream. Meena smiled and decided to make more boats. As she was happily sending one boat after another into the water, something unexpected happened!
Meena put another paper boat into the stream, but suddenly, a naughty boy appeared. He quickly pushed her boat, making it flip upside down! Meena was shocked and angry. She shouted, “Hey, stop!” But the boy just laughed and ignored her. Meena asked, “Why are you turning my boats over?” The boy smiled cheekily and said, “It’s fun!”
Meena, still upset, said, “It might be fun for you, but those are my boats. Please stop!” The boy thought for a moment and then said, “I won’t do it again, but can I also play with the boats?” Meena was curious and asked, “Do you want to make your own boats?”
The boy said, “I don’t know how to make them.” Meena smiled and said, “It’s easy! I can show you.” She showed him how to fold the paper carefully to make a boat. The boy followed her steps, and soon he made a few boats too.
They both placed their boats into the stream, and this time, they laughed and enjoyed watching them float together.
The chapter teaches us the importance of sharing and helping others. Meena showed kindness by teaching the boy, and they both ended up enjoying the activity together.
