Plants are living things that grow in the ground. They can be found in gardens, parks, and even on windows. Some plants are tall and some are small.
Trees: The tall and strong plants are called Trees.
A Tree has a thick brown stem called Trunk.
Trees are of different sizes and shapes. for example: banyan tree is thick. pine tree is cone shaped.
Shrubs are smaller than trees. they have hard stems. They look like bushes. example: rose, cotton plant etc.
Herbs are small plants. they have soft green stems. They are easily breakable. example: tomato plant, coriander etc.
Some plants have weak stems. They cannot stand straight. They either grow along the ground, or grow up using a support. The are climbers. example: money plant.
Vegetables: Plants give us vegetables like Potatoes, onions, brinjals.
Grains: Plants give us grains like Rice, wheat, pulses (dal).
Fruits: plants give us fruits like Apples, bananas, watermelons, and pineapples.
