Craft Ideas: Mahatma Gandhi Craft | Hands on Art & Craft - Class 1 PDF Download
Hello, students! Today, we are going to make a Mahatma Gandhi cardboard cutout. Just follow the steps and you can also make it and show your creativity to your family and friends.
Material Required
- Cardboard
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
- Skin coloured sheet
- White coloured sheet
- Brown coloured sheet
- Sketch pens
- Googly eyes
- Small stick
Directions to be followed
- Take a thin cardboard sheet (we have used incense stick packet) and draw the body using rectangles and circles with the help of a pencil as shown.
- Now cutout the figure using scissors (children can take help of parents for this) as shown.
- Now take a skin coloured sheet and using a glue paste the pieces and cut them using scissors to get skin coloured body parts as shown.
- Now for face, you can use white sheet trip for spectacles and paste googly eyes on them. For moustaches, use white sheet and sketches for eyebrows and mouth as shown.
- Use white sheet for dhoti. Cut it in proper shoti shape as shown.
- Paste the face on the neck.
- Take skin sheet and cut it as shown for arms.
- Use white sheet strip for for Gandhiji's Safa cloth.
- Now take a small stick, wrap it in brown coloured sheet as shown for Gandhiji's stick.
- Wrap and paste Gandhiji's arm around the stick and our craft is ready. Share it with you family and friends.
