in this video I'll show you the
procedure to create a pathway which
leads to this house we will also create
a 3d perspective view of this residence
before we create the pathway we have to
create a layer in which that particular
object is to be kept I have already
created a layer called 3d pathway and
have made that as a current layer now
let me trace the profile of the pathway
using a polyline so I give polyline
command and I will select the points
here I will go to our corporation then
second point and I will pick the second
point here the next point
I will pick over here then I'll offset
this polyline through an offset distance
which is taken from here that is from
this end power into this perpendicular I
will simply select these two points to
provide the distance then select object
offset and side to offset okay now we'll
continue tracing the profile from these
end points I'll connect and I will come
back to this perpendicular I will take
this perpendicular then I will come to
this end point this is N and from there
I'll come in the negative y direction
through a distance of 150 units then
I'll join with this existing line okay
now we have to make this into a closed
profile so obviously you have to perform
trim command here and these two end
points are to be connected using a
polyline now using period command I will
convert this as a single profile so I'll
go to P edit and select this then I will
go to join option when I'm asked to
select the objects I'll give all so it
will join only those objects which are
having end-to-end contact
all the objects got joined now let us
extrude this profile so I'll give
extrude command and I'll give a height
of extrusion as one centimeter just one
centimeter extrusion you can change the
visual styles to realistic and you see
the presence of that particular surface
so this is the surface which is used to
create the pathway now let's create a
border for this pathway
I'll be keeping that border in the 3d
mold layer so just activate that as a
current layer now I will trace the
profile using a polyline and I will
start from this end point to this end
point then I will go to our second point
and we'll select this nearest point as a
second point then you come back to this
end point so we have traced a polyline
now we have to offset this through a
distance of 10 centimeter and I will
give select object as this polyline okay
if you find any difficulty in selecting
it either switch over to 2d wireframe
view then I will give offset and I will
give 10 centimeter as offset distance
select object to offset and side to
offset
now I'll connect these two endpoints
using a straight line
I'll also connect these two endpoints
using another straight polyline now I'll
just give period
last okay so the most recently drawn one
is selected may go to join then all so
only those object which are having n two
and contact will get select now this
extruded through a distance of 15
centimeter so we have made a border for
the pathway in this side now we have to
repeat the same sequence of steps on the
other side by the time you complete the
procedure you will get such a result so
this is how you make a pathway with
border on both sides now let's make a
perspective we will create a two-point
perspective if you want to know the
methods to generate perspectives types
of perspective and the concept of
perspectives you can refer to my
exclusive video on perspectives in this
channel before we make a perspective we
have to ensure that you have to align
the UCS on the land so I'll give you C
is and I'll just click over here and I
will just give enter to accept this
orientation now I'll go to top view by
clicking on the top face of the view
cube now we will give the D view command
and I will select the objects all the
objects so I give all now I'll go to
points option to specify my target and
camera points using point filters so
I'll give dot XY off when I'm asked to
give the target point I will give dot XY
off and I will pick a point somewhere at
the center or the house then I'm asked
to give Z coordinate I'll give 180
because I want the target to be elevated
at a height of 6 feet or 180 centimeter
from the ground level now I'm asked to
give the camera point so I'll go to dot
XY off again and I'll pick my camera
point over here when I'm asked give Z
I'll give again 180 the same height now
you can just go to distance option by
typing D and just give an enter to get a
perspective view I can just give hide to
see the result this representation is
nothing but your you see as I can
display of this icon can be suppressed
now if you want to can change the
distance between target and camera using
the distance option again so I'll go to
distance option and I'll reduce the
distance now presently it is 3541 I'll
just reduce it bring it down to 2,800
2,800 now you can see that you have come
close to this house your camera has come
close to the house and the house is
appearing slightly bigger now if you
want you can just change the focal
length of the camera by going to zoom
option presently the focal length of the
camera is 50mm I'll bring it down to
35mm so that you will get slightly a
wide-angle view okay now you can also
use a bit of pan option pan option you
can now just pan the view slightly
rightward so that your house is
perfectly centralized on the screen ok
you can again try moving it slightly
backwards like this you can experiment
with the camera positions I will just
slightly move it backwards because I
want a part of the path to be exposed so
I'll move it backwards through distance
of say 3
in 100 so the camera is more backwards
and the portion of the pathway is
exposed now we can really feel the
effect of perspective now let's change
the visual styles to shaded that is
realistic now you have got the model
shaded and you have made a shaded view
of a two-point perspective view of the
residence
let's now conclude the 3d modeling part
