all right moving along in the Edit menu
we now come to trim crop delete or clear
and select all okay so now we've got a
few more goodies here we've got trim
crop delete clear select all you notice
these two are grayed out right now and
that's simply because we don't have
anything on the clipboard or selected or
even highlighted at all so let's let's
take an area let's just take like for
example let's preview here this section
of from this from the cursor forward the
kinds of tracks and so I've got kind of
a breath sound I take in here let's just
highlight that and take a listen yeah
that's me breathing alright
and I want to get rid of that I don't
want that at all
so what I can do is I can come up to the
trim well actually okay let's just say I
want to get rid of it I'm going to come
up to the delete clear command delete
and clear is just going to get rid of it
Bam's like that and now tracks and mix
them together and there it is let's undo
that and put it back so now let's take a
look at the trim and crop capability if
I go ahead and select just this section
of my vo here just the front half and
that's all I really want to keep I don't
want the rest of this I want to trim
this off I highlight that area I can
either come up here and use the trim
crop command here and click on that and
there it is this is just a quick test or
I can come up here and I can do the same
thing right here in the on the under the
Edit menu as well as doing ctrl T the
next thing like we saw was delete which
would basically just get rid of this
whole clip completely and then the last
thing under here is select all basically
just as a quick way of going into any
file that you have open and selecting
everything that's available so if I need
to copy this thing in its entirety and
paste it into the end of the next file I
can i can easily wherever my cursor it
doesn't really matter i can easily
select the whole thing i can hit command
excuse me i can hit control c for copy
come up here place my cursor here and
hit control v
and voila there it is tacked on to the
end this is just a quick so you can see
real easily how you can use those three
commands
