hello wall we are here for one more
lesson of this varakov 2016 training
course and in this lesson we are going
to see about the use of multiple files
inside a program to show you how to work
with is I will start by opening the four
files that came with the installation of
the program so sample to sample three
and sample form so now I have four files
open inside very card but there is only
one file each time that we call as
active file and we can see that in this
window menu where one of the lines will
be a little grayed out and this great
outline corresponds to the file that is
the active one the others are open but
they are in what we can call a
background okay so you see this line
corresponds in this top bar to the file
that is open if I need to change from
one file to the other to take for
example this sample tree as the active
one just click on it and now you see the
three is on the top a little grayed out
and now the three is the active one so
basically these are the two important
notions to have active file and that we
can open more than one file at the same
time the other topics to to care about
our I can open all files related to
assembly structures in this particular
case I don't have it this is something
that we are going to see a little more
deeper in one of the last lessons of
this training course when we see the
assemble
features we can open a document files or
at least we can manage the information
we have under these open files we can
see the previous document and this is
very useful if we have for example two
files that we are working with so we can
change very fast from one to another and
we have another possibility which is a
new document from this current one so
you see now there is an kind of
temporary format and I can do a save as
and okay if I give it a name and it will
become a seat for example sample 5 or
this case better 3a open and you see now
it is under the new name these are the
notions about the multiple files and the
active file there is one more important
thing to see and to check it i will open
these tools menu system settings and we
have one configuration under this entry
here working with multiple files so what
we have here it is when starting very
card I'll to deal with the creation or
not of the new file create a new one or
automatically restore the previous open
file this is by default create a new one
and in terms of the 2d there are two
different ways how the system can handle
the information which is inserted if it
is inserted from the clipboard usually
we can use only the dragon job if it is
a file inserted there
it will ask for a place to to be
inserted let us try this clipboard to
see how it works Oh using drag I will go
to the sample one ok we have a 2d side
and I will go to the sample for now to
this side also i will create something
and now i will use the standard

document ok and just do the taste and
you see drag and drop very easy if we go
now to the tools system settings and
change this and say insert and then
confirm I will do the exact same
procedure so again select copy going to
this again do the paste and now you see
select location the objects so i will
choose selection and now insert or
translate whatever we want insert
definitely so these are the options
which we can have to work with multiple
files
