hi this video is a request from a
subscriber and he wants to know how to
make a sequence image Verizon moon using
GIMP and of course you can use this
trick for other images now I didn't have
images that I can use so I used just one
image of a moon and also this image of a
night sky with stars that I have created
in a previous tutorial and if you want

the description you can use it for
anything you want and you see here that
I've created five images and in each one
the moon looks a little different and
has a different position size color so
I'm kind of faking the effect that this
moon is rising but I want to create just
one sequence image and there's more than
one way to do this but I'll show you the
easiest one first make sure that the
images have alpha Channel the first one
it's not necessary but every one after
that
just right-click and make sure that you
have alpha Channel after that I'm going
to make the second image visible and I'm
going to reduce the opacity to 50 then
I'm going to grab the eraser tool select
a brush then it's a good idea to select
the fuzzy brush adjust the size of the
brush and just start erasing where the
moon from the previous images also
release your mouse and go over it again
to make sure you got it all and then
just go here and change the opacity to
100 again and then make the next image
visible a game changed you passed it to
50 and this time you need to erase over
both previous moons so let's do that
and then again change your pasty 200 and
you need to repeat this for the other
two images so make this one visible
opacity 50 and just go over the moons
change the opacity 200 next layer
visible 50 opacity and start painting
over the moon's
and once you are done change the opacity
to 100 again and you have your sequence
