howdy record friendo today we'll take a
look at how you can use insert effects
to introduce some variation to an
arrangement with pattern effects in this
tutorial we're going to use an effect
patch from the reason factory sound Bank
you probably know this by now but if you
have both reason and record on your
computer all reasoned devices and sounds

mixer channels we want to bounce the
tracks into a single channel so we'll
bounce the master Channel and we don't
want our mastering effects included so
we'll choose none here on the right and
bounce two new tracks in song okay that
should do it
now we have a new track with our guitars
so we can mute the original part we only
want to hear our bounce track for this
section swipe over them with a razor
tool then right-click and mute all we
have left to do is load the patch open
up the mixer and hit this button to load
an insert effect
