hi my name is Chris and I'm from acute
data systems and welcome to a sage 100
tutorial and today's topic we will be
talking about how to record and transfer
vendor payments by credit card
so if you pay your vendors with the
credit card then you want to record them
as such in your system in order to
record and transfer your vendor payments
made by credit cards you first have to
make the credit card vendor in order to
do so you want to go into your accounts
payable and go into vendor maintenance
now let's make that credit card vendor
so I'll call it visa and you want to
checkmark this credit card vendor box
now click accept so let's say you have
an invoice from a vendor that you want
to pay by credit card so I've made that
invoice for this Daniel Adams vendor for
$100 now we were paying by credit card
this should be reflected as being paid
and the invoice should be transferred
over to the credit card vendor in order
to do that you want to go into your
invoice data entry and look up your
credit card vendor now for the invoice
number I'll put down Adams payment by
credit card and the invoice amount was
originally $100 and if I go to my lines
tab you want to click on this transfer
information box so now you'll find that
Daniel Adams vendor and find that
invoice number and everything should
populate click OK and then for
everything looks good click accept and
let's post this transaction
now here's the information about that
transfer here's more information and
I'll click just to update the invoice
register now to check if that invoice
has been transferred let's go into
vendor maintenance and if I look up my
Daniel Adams vendor the invoice should
be paid and now the invoice is
transferred over to our Visa credit card
vendor and that's how you record and
transfer payments by credit card if you
