day 5 is all about the importance of a
plan this is essential to your success
so let's get started
I'm so glad you're back here my name is

book SA P now if you are just getting
here and you haven't started from the
beginning here's day 1 go back and watch

today's video is all about creating a
plan and this is so important to your
success because if you do not create a
plan then what do they say the cliche
plan to fail because that's what's going
to happen if you do not create specific
dates times and a plan of how you're
going to write your book then it's just
not going to happen so today I'm just
going to focus on a very first part a
very important part of your plan and
what you're going to need to do is do
two things two dates that are essential
date number one is your start date where
are you going to start when are you
going to start writing that book you
have to write down on a piece of paper
on your computer write down the day that
you are going to start writing that book
this is so important or you're not going
to start you're just going to keep
putting it off so as the date tomorrow
is the date and a week is the date in a
month okay you have to get yourself
ready for that start date when is it
you're going to start now give yourself
a little bit of time to do more research
about your target audience to create
more of your plan but give yourself at
least a week okay
or if you need more time a month two
months three months whatever it is just
create that start date so that's
exercise number one create the start
date write it down number two most
important other than the start date is
your finish date what is your goal to
finish that book now keep in mind that
this finish date can change
okay but you need to create a goal for
yourself right now so it's up here so
it's in your mindset so you stay
motivated to hit that end date that
finish date now this doesn't mean that
it's your books going to be published on
that date what this means is that your
rough draft your all of your writing
will be done okay and it'll be ready
your rough draft will be ready to be
edited proof read and then go to
publishing so that's another whole plan
that you're gonna have to create but
you've not going to get to publishing a
book if the book isn't finished so what
is your goal for your finish date now
take some time to really think about
this okay take some time when I wrote my
first book what success takes I wrote in
30 days my second book I wrote in 45
days in my third book I wrote in 36 days
now my last book I just contributed a
chapter to it so it I wrote it in
literally three days and edited and
everything so but that being said you're
not me so if you can't write your book
in 30 days then that's fine okay but if
you can then make that your finish date
a good date is 90 days I see a lot of
people out of my students choosing 90
days but if it's gonna take you a year
that's fine I know an author fellow
friend
her name's Sonia riccati she wrote her
first book the love the law of
attraction um it's not that the title
but I'll put the image here okay sorry
about that Sonia but she wrote her first
book in two weeks now her second book
right here I'll put an image of that
took her two years okay both were
amazing folks both bestsellers but it
doesn't matter it doesn't matter when
okay or how much time it just matters
that you finished the book the sooner
the better
okay it's going to help you in your life
the sooner the better but don't worry
about the amount of time just do what
you think is realistic so create a
realistic finish date start date finish
date write them down sign them tell
others about them leave a comment and
tell us your start and finish date share
it with your friends
so this is the exercise for today now

strategic about the time that you set
