A. IIT JAM is a national level exam that is conducted to shortlist students for admission in MSc and integrated MSc courses offered at colleges accepting IIT JAM scores for admission. IIT JAM is jointly conducted by the IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISC). IIT JAM is conducted on a rotational basis by the colleges participating in exams. The IIT JAM 2020 is being conducted by IIT Kanpur.
Q. What is the eligibility for IIT JAM 2020?
A. Candidates are eligible to appear for IIT JAM exam 2020 if they have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks if they belong to the General category. For Students from SC/ ST/ PwD category the minimum marks to meet IIT JAM eligibility criteria is 50%. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing for their graduation exams in 2020 are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit Criteria: There is no age limit to appear for IIT JAM 2020 exam.

A. There is no restriction on the number of times an aspirant can take the IIT JAM exam. Candidates can give the JAM exam only if they fulfill the eligibility criteria of the science entrance test.
