Hydrogen

  • Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and highly combustible diatomic gas.

  • It is the primary fuel source for stars and is commonly used in industrial processes such as hydrogenation and hydrogen fuel cells.



Oxygen


  • Oxygen is a chemical element with the symbol O and atomic number 8.

  • It is a member of the chalcogen group on the periodic table, a highly reactive nonmetal, and an oxidizing agent that readily forms oxides with most elements as well as with other compounds.

  • Oxygen makes up about 21% of the Earth's atmosphere by volume and is essential for life as we know it.

  • It is used in a variety of industrial processes such as combustion, welding, and steel production.



Water


  • Water is a compound made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, with the chemical formula H2O.

  • It is a clear, colorless, odorless, and tasteless liquid that is essential for life on Earth.

  • Water is the most abundant substance on Earth's surface, covering about 71% of its surface.

  • It has a number of unique properties, such as high surface tension, high specific heat, and it can exist in all three states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas) at Earth's surface temperatures and pressures.
