Statement 1 says x/y is prime. So if we take 6/2 = 3 I.e Prime. But 6*2 is not Prime.
Statement 2 says both are consecutive -- 1*2 is prime but 2*3 is not Prime.
Taking both together, only 2/1 case forms -- product is prime.
Hence answer should be B.
