The formula to calculate the area of a circle is

A=πr2

This means that if r=5cm, the area is

A=52π cm^{2}=25π cm^{2}≈78.539816 cm^{2}

Becsuse

radius=5

circumference=πr22\7×5×5

then area is equal to 25

radius=5

circumference=πr22\7×5×5

then area is equal to 25
