There are four trees - lemon, coconut, mango and neem - each at a diff...
Given information:

- There are four trees - lemon, coconut, mango, and neem - each at a different corner of a rectangular plot.
- A well is located at one corner and a cabin at another corner.
- The lemon and coconut trees are on either side of the gate located at the center of the side opposite to the side at whose extremes, the well and the cabin are located.
- The mango tree is not at the corner where the cabin is located.

We need to find the option that is definitely FALSE.

Analysis:

Let us assume that the rectangular plot is ABCD with AB being the side opposite to the side where the gate is located. Let us also assume that the well is located at vertex A and the cabin at vertex C.

- The lemon and coconut trees are on either side of the gate located at the center of the side AB. Therefore, the lemon tree is either at vertex B or vertex D and the coconut tree is at the opposite vertex.
- The mango tree is not at the corner where the cabin is located, i.e., it is not at vertex C.
- The neem tree can be at any of the remaining two vertices.

Using the above information, let us verify each option:

a) Mango tree is with the well at one corner: This option is not definitely false as the mango tree can be at vertex B or D, which are adjacent to the well at vertex A.

b) Neem tree is with the cabin at one corner: This option is not definitely false as the neem tree can be at vertex C, which is adjacent to the cabin.

c) Coconut tree is at the corner adjacent to the well: This option is not definitely false as the coconut tree can be at vertex A, which is adjacent to the well.

d) Lemon tree is not on the same side of the plot as the gate: This option is definitely false as we know that the lemon tree is either at vertex B or D, which are on the same side of the plot as the gate.

e) None of these: This option is not the answer as we have found that option (d) is definitely false.

Therefore, the correct answer is option (d) - Lemon tree is not on the same side of the plot as the gate.
