Calculation of Amount of Bill

Given:

Total amount of goods sold by X to Y = Rs 1,00,000
Cash paid by Y = Rs 30,000

Now, X will grant 2% discount on the balance amount, which is calculated as follows:
Balance amount = Total amount of goods sold - Cash paid
= Rs 1,00,000 - Rs 30,000
= Rs 70,000

Discount = 2% of the balance amount
= 2/100 x Rs 70,000
= Rs 1,400

Net amount to be paid by Y after discount = Balance amount - Discount
= Rs 70,000 - Rs 1,400
= Rs 68,600

Therefore, X will draw a bill for the remaining amount of Rs 68,600.
