Let the number of members be x.
In the first scenario, each member contributes 2x and the government contributes x, so the total amount contributed is 3x.
In the second scenario, each member contributes x and the government contributes 2x, so the total amount contributed is 3x. However, we know that this total amount is Rs. 210 less than the total amount in the first scenario, so we can set up the equation:
3x - 210 = 3x
Simplifying this equation, we get:
-210 = 0
This is not possible, so there must be an error in our reasoning. Specifically, we cannot have a scenario where the total amount contributed is the same in both cases, but one scenario has Rs. 210 less than the other. Therefore, there is no solution to this problem as stated.
