first man made plastic was invented by Alexander Parkes. Even ancient egyptians use to use natural plastics too.

There are 10 of thousands of uses of plastic that are very important to us in a very basic level. We see most of the things made of plastics and those which we don't see are also made of plastic. From toys kitchen tools bathroom tools safety tools to coating, sealing, paintings and glues. Even the cellphone covers are made of plastic very nicely.
