Talking about the 1^st row, 5^th column element is obtained by multiplying 1^st column by 3^rd column then adding by 4^th column and then subtracting it by 2^nd column.

18 × 3 + 1 – 5 = 54 + 1 – 5 → 50

Similarly for 3^rd row

20 × 4 + 5 – 30 = 80 + 5 – 30 → 55

So for 2^nd row,

12 × ? + 2 – 50 = 24

12 × ? = 72

? = 72/12

= 6

Hence, “6” is the correct answer.
