Given that the mean of the data is 50 and the total frequency is 90.

Using the formula for finding the mean:

Mean = (sum of all observations) / (total frequency)

50 = (10*30 + 30*40 + 50*f + 70*20 + 90*f) / 90

4500 = 300 + 1200 + 50f + 1400 + 90f

4500 = 2600 + 140f

1900 = 140f

f = 13.57

Since frequency must be a whole number, we can round up the value of f to 14.
