    1.33 m3/s
  • b)
    16.7 m3/s
  • c)

A catchment has an area of 150 ha and a runoff/ rainfall ratio of 0.40...
Given:
Area of the catchment (A) = 150 ha = 15000 m²
Runoff/rainfall ratio (R) = 0.40
Rainfall (P) = 10 cm = 0.1 m
Stream flow duration (T) = 10 hours

Calculation:
1. Total rainfall on the catchment = A x P
= 15000 m² x 0.1 m
= 1500 m³
2. Total runoff from the catchment = R x P x A
= 0.40 x 0.1 m x 15000 m²
= 600 m³
3. Average stream flow rate = Total runoff / Stream flow duration
= 600 m³ / 10 hours
= 60 m³/hour
4. Converting the flow rate to m³/minute
= 60 m³/hour x 1 hour / 60 minutes
= 1 m³/minute
5. Multiplying with 100 to get the answer in 100 m³/minute
= 100 x 1 m³/minute
= 100 m³/minute

Therefore, the average stream flow rate during the given period is 100 m³/minute. Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
