Let the numbers be 18x and 18y where x and y are co-prime.
LCM of 18x and 18y = 18xy
According to the question,
18xy = 936
⇒ xy = 936/18
⇒ xy = 52
⇒ xy = 13 × 4
⇒ x =13 and y = 4
First number = 18 × 13 = 234
Second number = 18 × 4 = 72
∴ Sum of both numbers = 234 + 72 = 306
