Given, the watch gains 6 minutes in one hour.
So, in 10 hours (from 8 AM to 6 PM), the watch will gain 10 × 6 = 60 minutes = 1 hour.
Therefore, the actual time elapsed is 10 hours, but the watch shows 11 hours.
Now, the watch was set right at 8 AM, so it will show 9 AM at the actual time of 8 AM.
Hence, the time shown by the watch at 6 PM (actual time 5 PM) will be 11 hours after 9 AM, that is, 8 PM.
