You need to make the paper look pleasing. It makes it easier for the examiner to correct the paper, and satisfies him/her.


1. Leave space between question. One line will do.

2. Do not scribble or overwrite when you need to erase something. Instead strike it out with a single line, using a pencil. Do NOT use whitener, it annoys the teachers(idk why.)

3. Draw lines after each question. Here's what I'm saying:

4. Don't cram all the calculations together, it's ok to ask for extra sheets.

5. Keep your working column, or the place where you calculate to the right side.

    Don't do your working and your actual steps in the same area. It's gonna confuse the examiner and you may lose marks.

6. Don't write too big or too small, keep your writing medium sized.
