he either trying of surviving or finding another work he thought he and his family would die of starvation . so only one hope was left that was help from God .
so he wrote letter to god . he just believe in God not human made by God . when at last he didn't get 100 pesos he called post office employees a bunch of crooks . as he found only 70 pesos . But real helpers was post office employees .
so he has a faithful attitude towards god but not believe in man made by God
