See, these are too basic nd easy concept !!
Oxidation :-
1. adding of oxygen. (means whenever any O2 molucles will added in any compound, then oxidation will take place )
2. removal of Hydrogen. (nd also, whenever any hydrogen molecules get removed from any compound, then oxidation will take place )
Reduction :-
1. removal of hydrogen (as same, when oxygen get removed, then reduction ill take place)
2. ading of hydregen (nd whenever hydrogen get added to any compound then, also reduction ill take place )
nd for clearification, i think u should hav a look on ur text books !!!
