Perfect if the sum of its proper divisors (excluding itself) equals to n. For example, 6 is a perfect number since its proper divisors are 1, 2, and 3, and 1 + 2 + 3 = 6.

The first few perfect numbers are:

- 6
- 28
- 496
- 8128
- 33,550,336
- 8,589,869,056
- 137,438,691,328

It is not known if there are infinitely many perfect numbers or not. However, it is known that all even perfect numbers are of the form 2^(p-1)(2^p - 1), where p and 2^p - 1 are both prime. This formula was discovered by the ancient Greeks and is known as the Euclid-Euler theorem.
