Statement:

The doctors nurse only those bleeding wounds which are caused by bullets. A patient X was bleeding profusely.

Conclusions:

I. X was nursed by the doctors.

II. The doctors did not nurse X.

Explanation:

Conclusion I can be true if patient X's bleeding wound was caused by a bullet. In that case, the doctors would have nursed the wound.

Conclusion II can be true if patient X's bleeding wound was not caused by a bullet. In that case, the doctors would not have nursed the wound.

Since we do not know the cause of patient X's bleeding wound, we cannot determine which conclusion is true. Therefore, either conclusion I or II may follow. Hence, option D, "if either I or II follows" is the correct answer.
