This truth was illustrated when the boy doesn't see his parents and cries a lot even though a man finds him and tells that he will buy everything which he needs though that boy keeps on crying for his parents.
That means the boy just like those items displayed over there but they aren't important to him than his parents. he loves his parents a lot.
