Solution:

Given, there are seven students - A, B, C, D, E, F and G - in a class, and each of them has a different favourite subject and all of them secure different marks in the examination.

Let's summarize the given information:

- C secures second highest marks.
- E secures the least marks.
- D's favourite subject is Physics and he secures more marks than B and G, but less than A.
- B's favourite subject is Biology and his marks are more than the marks of E, but less than the marks of G.
- A's favourite subject is Philosophy.
- The favourite subject of the student who scores the highest marks is Chemistry.

Now, let's use this information to find the answer to the given question.

- We know that C secures the second-highest marks, so Chemistry cannot be his favourite subject because the student who scores the highest marks has Chemistry as his/her favourite subject.
- We also know that E secures the least marks, and neither Sociology nor Mathematics is his favourite subject. So, Chemistry cannot be E's favourite subject.
- D's favourite subject is Physics, so Chemistry cannot be his favourite subject.
- B's favourite subject is Biology, so Chemistry cannot be his favourite subject.
- A's favourite subject is Philosophy, so Chemistry cannot be his favourite subject.

Therefore, the favourite subject of the student who scores the highest marks, i.e., Chemistry, is F's favourite subject.

Hence, the correct answer is option 'C'.
