Here in assertion we come to see that , Assertion is explaining that caste and occupation are becoming apart in modern society, Which is completely true.
Now we look at reason that is caste class correlation at macro level( small scale levels like rural areas and other small units ) is still present which is sadly true.
Thus the moment we come to know both A&R are true the correct option must be from A or B
Now we need to relate the assertion and reason to see if reason is justifying the 'cause' of assertion which in this case is completely different.
Thus right option would be B option .
