Verified Answer
Five children are born to Riya each at a gap of 3 years such that the...
Let present age of Riya = 'm' years
Five children in ascending order of their present age be a, (a+3) , (a+6) , (a+9) and (a+12)
Now,
2*(a+12+7) = m - 3
m = 2a + 41 ....(i)
15 years hence,
(a+a+3+a+6+15*3)/3 + 23 = 2a + 41 - 3
a + 18 + 23 = 2a + 38
a = 3
So,
Riya = m = 2a + 41 = 47 years
Youngest = a = 3 years
