Solution:

Given, reduction in number of workers in the ratio 15:10 and increment in wages in the ratio 22:26.

Let the initial number of workers be 15x and their initial wages be 22y.

After the reduction in the ratio 15:10, the number of workers will be 10x.

After the increment in the ratio 22:26, the new wages will be 26y.

Therefore, the total wages of the workers will be (15x * 22y) initially and (10x * 26y) after the changes.

Ratio of total wages:

The ratio of total wages can be found by dividing the new total wages by the initial total wages.

Total wages after changes = 10x * 26y = 260xy

Total initial wages = 15x * 22y = 330xy

Ratio of total wages = 260xy/330xy

= 26/33

Therefore, the total wages of the workers will be decreased in the ratio 26:33 or 26/33.
