Quantity - I
Cost price of the mixture = (7 × 500) + (6 × 450/13 = (3500 + 2700)/13
= 6200/13 = Rs 476.93
Quantity - II
Total number of ways in which six people can sit together = 6!
Total number of ways in which A and B always sit together = 5! 2!
Hence number of ways in which these two people will never sit together = 6! - 5! 2! = 6 5! - 5! 2! = 4.5! = 480
