Verified Answer
In a sports club, a poll was taken as to which IPL club(s) they follow...
If the number of people in the club is minimum, we can distribute them in the following way:
395 people who support CSK can support all other clubs as well. The remaining who follow KKR can follow all other clubs except CSK. The remaining who follow RCB can follow SRH as well, and the remaining people can follow only the club SRH. Hence, we get the Venn DIagram as follows:

Required number = 395 - 101 = 294.

In a sports club, a poll was taken as to which IPL club(s) they follow...
To find the difference between the number of people who follow exactly 2 clubs and those who follow exactly 4 clubs, we first need to determine the minimum number of people following any sports club.

Let's assume that all 597 people who follow RCB also follow another club, which means they follow exactly 2 clubs. Similarly, let's assume that all 667 people who follow SRH also follow another club, and so on.

We can calculate the minimum number of people following any sports club by subtracting the number of people who follow exactly 2 clubs from the total number of people who follow each club.

- Number of people who follow exactly 2 clubs:
- RCB: 597
- SRH: 667
- KKR: 496
- CSK: 395

Total number of people following exactly 2 clubs = 597 + 667 + 496 + 395 = 2155

- Number of people who follow exactly 4 clubs:
- Assume that there are x people who follow exactly 4 clubs.

From the information given, we know that the total number of people who follow any sports club is equal to the sum of people who follow exactly 2 clubs and people who follow exactly 4 clubs.

Total number of people following any sports club = Number of people following exactly 2 clubs + Number of people following exactly 4 clubs

Total number of people following any sports club = 2155 + x

We are given the total number of people following any sports club, which is the sum of people following RCB, SRH, KKR, and CSK.

Total number of people following any sports club = 597 + 667 + 496 + 395 = 2155

Therefore, 2155 + x = 2155

Solving for x, we get x = 0

Since the minimum number of people following any sports club is 0, it implies that there are no people who follow exactly 4 clubs.

Hence, the difference between the number of people who follow exactly 2 clubs and those who follow exactly 4 clubs is 2155 - 0 = 2155.

Therefore, the correct answer is option A.
