January
The number of fuel cars manufactured = 210 * 30/(100 – 30) = 210 * 30/70 = 90
The total number of cars manufactured = 210 + 90 = 300
February:
The number of fuel cars manufactured = 160 * 60/(100 – 60) = 160 * 60/40 = 240
The total number of cars manufactured = 160 + 240 = 400
March:
The number of fuel cars manufactured = 230 * 50/(100 – 50) = 230 * 50/50 = 230
The total number of cars manufactured = 230 + 230 = 460
April:
The number of fuel cars manufactured = 150 * 70/(100 – 70) = 150 * 70//30 = 350
The total number of cars manufactured = 150 + 350 = 500
May:
The number of fuel cars manufactured = 180 * 40/(100 – 40) = 180 * 40/60 = 120
The total number of cars manufactured = 180 + 120 = 300
The number of fuel cars unsold in April = 350 – 200 = 150
The number of fuel cars unsold in May = 120 – 70 = 50
Required ratio = 150:50 = 3:1
