Given information
- Total amount lent = Rs 30,00,000
- Rate of interest for person A = 12%
- Rate of interest for person B = 14%
- Rate of interest for person C = 16%
- Time period for person A = 7 years
- Time period for person B = 8 years
- Time period for person C = 5 years
- All three persons repay equal amount on maturity
Calculation of equal amount on maturity
Let x be the equal amount that all three persons will repay on maturity.
- Amount to be repaid by person A = x
- Amount to be repaid by person B = x
- Amount to be repaid by person C = x
Total amount repaid = x + x + x = 3x
Calculation of interest for person A
Amount lent to person A = (12/100) * 30,00,000 * 7 = Rs 25,20,000
Interest to be paid by person A = (12/100) * 25,20,000 = Rs 3,02,400
Calculation of interest for person B
Amount lent to person B = (14/100) * 30,00,000 * 8 = Rs 33,60,000
Interest to be paid by person B = (14/100) * 33,60,000 = Rs 4,70,400
Calculation of interest for person C
Amount lent to person C = (16/100) * 30,00,000 * 5 = Rs 24,00,000
Interest to be paid by person C = (16/100) * 24,00,000 = Rs 3,84,000
Calculation of total interest
Total interest to be paid = 3,02,400 + 4,70,400 + 3,84,000 = Rs 11,56,800
Calculation of amount lent to B
Amount lent to B = Total amount lent - Amount lent to A - Amount lent to C
Amount lent to B = 30,00,000 - 25,20,000 - 24,00,000 = Rs 80,000
Therefore, the amount lent to person B is Rs 80,000.
