According to question,
Number ofRed roses sold on Wednesday – Number of red roses sold on Tuesday = 40
20b – 26a = 40--------(1)
Number ofLilies sold on Wednesday – Number of lilies sold on Tuesday = 360
52b – 42a = 360--------(1)
Solving equation 1 and 2, we get,
128a = 1280
a = 10
And sub a = 10 in equation 1,
Then, b = 15
Number of White roses sold on Tuesday: Number of white roses sold on Wednesday = 16:21
Hence, answer is option E
