The number of bicycles unsold = 120 x 5/2 = 300
Store C:
The number of bicycles sold = 160 x 2 = 320
The number of bicycles unsold = 50 x 5/2 = 125
Store D:
The number of bicycles sold = 110 x 2 = 220
The number of bicycles unsold = 100 x 5/2 = 250
Store E:
The number of bicycles sold = 180 x 2 = 360
The number of bicycles unsold = 60 x 5/2 = 150
Maximum number of bicycles unsold = 300 = store B
Minimum number of bicycles sold = 180 = store B
Required average = (300 + 180)/2 = 480/2 = 240
