Total amount received = Rs. 20 million
Total number of rooms = 3,000
Amount received from hotel A = 20% of Rs. 20 million = Rs. 4 million
Number of rooms in hotel A = 15% of 3,000 = 450
Amount received from hotel B = 15% of Rs. 20 million = Rs. 3 million
Number of rooms in hotel B = 12% of 3,000 = 360
Amount received from hotel C = 35% of Rs. 20 million = Rs. 7 million
Number of rooms in hotel C = 28% of 3,000 = 840
Amount received from hotel D = 17% of Rs. 20 million = Rs. 3.4 million
Number of rooms in hotel D = 25% of 3,000 = 750
Amount received from hotel E = 13% of Rs. 20 million = Rs. 2.6 million
Number of rooms in hotel E = 20% of 3,000 = 600
Amount received from hotel A per room = Rs. 4 million/450 = Rs. 8,889
Amount received from hotel B per room = Rs. 3 million/360 = Rs. 8,333
Amount received from hotel C per room = Rs. 7 million/840 = Rs. 8,333
Amount received from hotel D per room = Rs. 3.4 million/750 = Rs. 4,533
Amount received from hotel E per room = Rs. 2.6 million/600 = Rs. 4,333
The highest amount per room is received from hotel A.
