Most Upvoted Answer
A container contains 40 litres of milk. From this container, 4 litres...
The Solution is as follows:

Given:
Initial quantity of milk in the container = 40 litres
Quantity of milk taken out and replaced by water = 4 litres
Number of times this process is repeated = 2

Calculation:

After the first process:
Quantity of milk left in the container = (40 - 4) litres = 36 litres
The container now contains 36 litres of milk and 4 litres of water.

After the second process:
Quantity of milk left in the container = (36 - 36/10) litres = (36 - 3.6) litres = 32.4 litres
The container now contains 32.4 litres of milk and 7.6 litres of water.

After the third process:
Quantity of milk left in the container = (32.4 - 32.4/10) litres = (32.4 - 3.24) litres = 29.16 litres
The container now contains 29.16 litres of milk and 10.84 litres of water.

Final Answer:
Therefore, the container now contains 29.16 litres of milk.
Hence, option D is the correct answer.
