The radar graph shown below shows the number of days to be taken by d...
From the data given in the radar graph,
The number of days taken by A to complete a work is 15 days.
The number of days taken by B to complete a work is 10 days.
The number of days taken by C to complete a work is 15 days.
The number of days taken by D to complete a work is 12 days.
Let the total work be the LCM of days = 60 units
The efficiency of A is 60/15 = 4
The efficiency of B is 60/10 = 6
The efficiency of C is 60/15 = 4
The efficiency of D is 60/12 = 5
B and C work together for two days= 6 + 4 = 10 × 2 = 20 units
B and D work together for two days = 6 + 5 = 11 × 2 = 22 units
D alone work for two days = 5 × 2 =10 units
The remaining work is 60 − (20 + 22 + 10) = 8 units
The remaining work is done by C alone is 8/4 = 2 days
Total number of days C works = 4 days
Amount received by C = 40 × 4 = ₹160
Hence, the correct answer is ₹160.
