    Double shear-
    Diameter of the rivet = 16 mm
    Rivet value is the least of value either failure of rivet in shear or in bearing.
    In shear (double):
    = 2 × (π/4) × (16 + 1.5)2 × 90 N
    = 43.295 kN
    In bearing:
    = 12 × (16 + 1.5) × 270 N
    = 56.7 kN
    So, rivet value = 43.295 kN
